ccpix > February 17, A late post today as I was out of town. This is another shot from the "Feast of the Hunter's Moon". This is the blessing of the travelers at the landing of the canoes.
ccpix > March 5, Got home from Washington DC late last night. First 2 days were overcast and raining but since I was in meetings all day it was not a problem. It also made for some decent night shooting. Then yesterday, it was beautiful. My problem was only having a few hours to shoot before my flight left. Washington is such a beautiful city and there is soooo much to shoot that I barely scratched the surface. I will definitely have to make a return trip.This is a quick turn around with one of the shots of Capitol Hill. Spent the Days on the hill meeting with several members of Congress on various Broadcasting issues. This was my first trip and a wonderful glimpse into the workings of government. I was so impressed with the number of bright, energetic and passionate young people who are involved in the process.

ccpix > March 10, Another post from DC. This is the World War Memorial. Located near the Lincoln Memorial it honors those who served in WW I and was donated by the citizens of the District of Columbia
ccpix > March 4, A shot of a sculpture in the lobby of hotel in Springfield Illinois. despite my efforts, I was unable to find out who the artist was. It looks very much like the Dale Chihuly sculpture in the lobby at Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
ccpix > February 26, They always ask..."What is in a name?" Not the best of images but I thought the subject was very unique. The shot actually makes the boat look better than it is. Thank you all for the comments on the factory shot yesterday. I learn everyday looking at the wonderful work posted here. Hope you have a great start to a relaxing weekend!
ccpix > February 23, It was a very gray weekend...again. Not many people out either. This window jumped out at me primarily because of the vine and the way it embraced the wall and window.
