June 28, Missed the last several days because I was attending the Fox Valley Horse Trials. My daughter was a competitor. This is one of the advanced competitors exiting a water jump. I have been working on doing more in camera effects to capture the energy and motion of this exciting event using much slower shutter speeds and tracking with the rider. July 1, My daughter and her horse Domino took home 2nd in the 3 day event she competed in this past weekend. it was their first event in a year so she was very pleased.

June 30, "UUMMMMM....are you taking a picture of this? Really, I never do this."

Actually the owner places a carrot in the soda bottle and hangs it in his stall. It provides a treat and lots of entertainment...both for him and other competitors at the show.

June 29, a truly wonderful sight...the running of the hounds at Fox River Valley Hunt Club. I understand they compete nationally with these dogs and are most often winners.

June 20, We attended "Wines and Polo on the Prairie" last evening. it is a charity event for Easter Seal. It was a great time and all for a wonderful cause.
